The International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management is a unique organization dedicated to advancing the field of pain management in animals.

IVAPM is inclusive by design. We encourage anyone interested in treating pain in animals to join.  Our members include veterinary professionals, academics, researchers and corporations.  Information and perspectives are routinely shared across this diverse group, helping make IVAPM a leading resource for everyone interested in veterinary pain management.

IVAPM is committed to providing top-notch education in the field. We launched the first certification program for veterinary pain practitioners in 2008 and have presented lectures and workshops around the world.  Our members routinely take advantage of our List Serve where they have access to leading pain practitioners.  Wiki Pain was recently added to our member benefits, an online encyclopedia of veterinary pain information.
